The Miss Universe 2015 Pageant will soon be upon us, and as can be expected, many of the contestants are still harboring some nerves. In an interview with E! Online, Miss New Zealand, Samantha McClung, says that she’s primarily concerned about the one thing that would keep any functioning human lying awake at night: The possibility of falling down the stairs.
“It’s weird, I don’t feel nervous at the moment,” she says in her charming accent. “I’m only nervous about, like, tripping down the stairs. Or getting my dress caught. But I’m actually really excited, because you know, the interviews were yesterday, so that’s kind of the hard part done, and now it’s the fun part.”
Sounds like we have the J.Law of pageantry on our hands. The rest of the interview is below, and the full pageant will air on Fox, at 7:00 p.m. on December 20.
