Vinny Guadagnino Has a Lady Gaga Wish
It was a rousing return to the Chippendales stage for Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on March 11. Guadagnino is back for his third turn as celebrity host through April 10. The MTV star was met with screams from the crowd as he once again stepped on stage and into the shower which made his last appearance break the Internet. “I am so grateful to Chippendales and the fans for really making me feel like I belong on this stage and in Vegas,” Guadagnino tells LAMag.com. And Guadagnino personally invited fellow Vegas headliner, Lady Gaga, to the show as his ‘dream guest’ to watch him in action. “Lady Gaga has got to come to Chippendales,” Guadagnino said. “It’s right up her alley. Magic Mike Live Welcomes International Performers
Keeping with the sexy, MAGIC MIKE LIVE Las Vegas at Sahara Las Vegas will welcome six new cast members from international productions of the hit show for a limited time now into May 2022. Cast members joining the Las Vegas production of MAGIC MIKE LIVE for a limited time include Berlin engagement cast members, South African-born Kalon Badenhorst and Macedonia native Burim Jusufi; original London cast member and Berlin performer Edson Juarez of Texas; and first Australian national tour cast members Jake Paul Green of Perth, Nick Phillips of Melbourne, and Blake Varga of Sunshine Coast. Vanderpump à Paris Opens at Paris Las Vegas
Lisa Vanderpump’s second Las Vegas venue is here. Following the success of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, and, of course PUMP, TOM TOM and SUR in West Hollywood, the reality star and philanthropist has opened Vanderpump à Paris, at Paris Las Vegas, with her husband, Ken Todd. “We had such an incredible time living in France for close to ten years, so we are inextricably tied to the country,” Vanderpump tells LAMag.com. “You’ll find our love for French wine, delicious French food, and our fascination with French culture peppered throughout Vanderpump à Paris. The incredible thing about creating a unique restaurant is having a design partner, Nick Alain, who can bring our dreams to life.” The space features approximately 200 seats with multiple seating areas, decorated with plush velvet art nouveau banquettes adorned with oversized, ornately embellished pillows, as well as light fixtures and bespoke furniture from Vanderpump and Alain’s design line, Vanderpump Alain. The back of the bar features massive windows which overlook the resort’s Eiffel Tower and Seine River. Vanderpump à Paris is located adjacent to the front desk and is open from 4 p.m. to midnight with limited seating available.
Katy Perry PLAY Visitors Enjoy Impeccable Sound
Katy Perry’s PLAY residency has shows March 18 and 19 at Resorts World Theatre, and show goers have been talking about not only the incredible visuals and costumes, but also the crystal clear sound in the theater, which is operated in partnership with AEG Presents. Performed in immersive sound, courtesy of L-Acoustics’ L-ISA technology, attending shows inside the theater are a new way to experience sound in ultra-high resolution spatial audio. A rep for L-Acoustics tells LAMAg.com, “Combined with accurate sound placement to bring unprecedented vibrancy, and clarity, artists can share their music through extremely natural and detailed sound, creating a direct and deeper connection with the audience.” Perry returns to Resorts World on May 27 with select dates through Aug. 13. Greens Celebrity Golf Association Comes to Vegas
The Greens Celebrity Golf Association in partnership with Resorts World Las Vegas, launches the inaugural edition of the Las Vegas Invitational: Celebrity Golf and Poker Tournament during NFL Draft Weekend, April 28-30. The Invitational is expected to feature elite athletes and celebrities competing for more than $400,000 in cash and prizes. The invitational includes luxury accommodations at Resorts World, an NFL Draft viewing party, a winner-take-all poker tournament, and 36 holes of competitive championship-style golf at Angel Park Golf Club. Rüfüs Du Sol Have Special Show at Wynn Las Vegas
In celebration of GRAMMY Awards weekend in Las Vegas, on GRAMMY Sunday, April 3, for one night only, Intrigue at Wynn Las Vegas will host the Grammy-nominated group Rüfüs Du Sol for an intimate late night affair and after party. Anita Baker is Coming to The Venetian Resort

Estiatorio Milos Begins Winemaker’s Table Dinner
Before or after you see Baker’s show, why not dine at The Venetian Resort as well. Estiatorio Milos at The Venetian is introducing a new monthly Winemaker’s Table Dinner series beginning March 29. The five-course prix fixe menu will feature fresh seafood flown in from the Mediterranean and iconic Milos dishes, paired with fine wines produced in Greece by award-winning winemakers. Also at The Venetian Resort, Mott 32, one of Hong Kong’s most award-winning Chinese restaurants, is expanding their robust vegan menu by recreating several of their signature dishes and customer favorites using only plants and meat alternatives. AGT Live Welcomes Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel
Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel headed to Las Vegas for America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE at LUXOR, the live show from the worldwide TV franchise, on March 12, where they reunited backstage with AGT alumni. Durango Casino & Resort Breaks Ground
After acquiring the property 22 years ago, Station Casinos and hundreds of its team members finally celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking of Durango Casino & Resort and unveiled the resort’s new logo and icon on March 11. The ceremony included Red Rock Resorts, Inc. Chairman and CEO Frank J. Fertitta III, Vice Chairman Lorenzo J. Fertitta, and 300 team members amidst a pop-up preview of the casino resort, including inspirational hotel vignettes set across the construction site providing a glimpse of what guests can expect. “Station Casinos is bullish on the local and overall Las Vegas gaming market, which is why we are investing $750 million in Durango Station,” said Scott Kreeger, President of Station Casinos. The resort will feature 83,000 square feet of casino space, 20,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, a hotel tower with more than 200 guest rooms and suites, four signature food and beverage outlets, a food hall concept, state-of-the-art race and sportsbook, a serene pool space and 40 electric vehicle charging stations.
El Cortez Transitioning to 21 and Over-Only Property
El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas is joining a growing list of 21 and over properties in the city. Just as Circa Resort & Casino and The Cromwell are, beginning April 1, the historic El Cortez will begin its transition to a 21 years of age and over-only property, starting with hotel guests. This two-phase rollout comes in the final stages of the hotel and casino’s complete $25 million remodel. Still in progress is a renovation of the original 47 ‘vintage’ rooms, built in 1941 when the gambling house first opened its doors. For all hotel stays booked April 1 and beyond, all guests must be 21 years of age or older with valid state-issued identification. “While Las Vegas has grown and adapted to cater to all demographics, El Cortez remains a traditional gambling house with great gaming odds and an indescribable feeling of stepping back in time,” Adam Wiesberg, El Cortez general manager, tells LAMag.com.
Green Valley Ranch Kicks Off Spring Season
Green Valley Ranch is welcoming the season a little early with their seasonal outdoor pop-up lounge, “Spring at the Terrace.” Starting March 18 through early summer, the resort’s patio, located in The Backyard, has transformed into a botanical garden where guests will be whisked away to a springtime escape. As the garden-inspired décor creates a picturesque atmosphere, guests are welcomed to bask in the colorful ambiance and greenery while indulging in light bites and delectable botanical themed libations created by Station Casinos corporate mixologist Jamie Clark. Guests are able to reserve their own private greenhouse to further their garden experience. “Spring at the Terrace” will be open every Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Guests must be 21 or older, and entrance is complimentary.
Brad Garrett and More Celebrity Sightings
On March 10, Brad Garrett and Las Vegas Review-Journal entertainment columnist, John Katsilometes, kicked off fundraising for New York-New York’s St. Baldrick’s Day event taking place March 19. Garrett shaved Katsilometes’ head on stage in front of an audience during his show at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand. The on-stage shaving and March 19 event raise awareness and money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the fight against childhood cancer. Katsilometes braves the shave each year in support of the cause. Donate to the fight here. . . .On March 11, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her fiancé, Luis Ruelas, were spotted at TAO Asian Bistro inside The Venetian Resort. In Sin City to celebrate best friend and former castmate Dina Cantin’s 50th birthday, Giudice and Ruelas joined Cantin and her husband, David Cantin, to kick off the celebratory weekend. The couples were also spotted at a private party at LAVO Italian Restaurant inside The Palazzo later that night. . .On March 12, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge was spotted attending MAGIC MIKE LIVE at Sahara Las Vegas. Judge had her hands full when she was invited onstage to participate in the interactive “Male Appreciation” scene. After the show, Judge’s group met with the cast to take photos. . . “The Hills” star, Justin Brescia aka Justin Bobby, enjoyed dinner at Kassi Beach House at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on March 13, in celebration of his birthday weekend. Brescia was accompanied by friends and family. The TV personality and actor enjoyed favorites such as mozzarella sticks, mezze platter, vodka pasta and sipped on the signature drink, The Kassi. Kassi Beach House is a European style restaurant and lounge with Coastal Italian influences . .On March 14, more than 200 guests, including Las Vegas Raiders owner, Mark Davis, came out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Piero’s Italian Cuisine. The restaurant’s owners, founder Freddie Glusman, and his son, Evan Glusman, treated guests to a special celebration to honor the momentous occasion, including drinks by American Harvest Vodka. . .On March 18, Heidi Klum and friends were seen enjoying drinks at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge inside Resorts World where they sipped on strawberry bellinis before they headed down the hall to watch Katy Perry’s PLAY residency show. Following the show, Klum and her group returned to Gatsby’s where they enjoyed the $75 “Champagne Bubble Bath” cocktail, complete with edible rose petals and rubber duckies (as seen on her Instagram story). Later, the group headed just steps away to Eight Lounge to enjoy a cigar. Also at Eight Lounge was Ludacris, who who received a tour of the lounge’s acclaimed humidor, which offers more than 150 cigars from Drew Estate, Arturo Fuente, and Ashton, along with an ever-changing rotation of other top-notch cigars.
