Hilary Liftin at Book Soup
July 28
Liftin has ghost written many of the celebrity memoirs that grace summer beach bags, including those of Miley Cyrus, Tori Spelling, and Tatum O’Neal. Now she has taken a foray into fiction with her own faux celeb memoir, Movie Star by Lizzie Pepper. Inspired by tabloid headlines, it’s about a small town girl who made it big on a TV show, only to get swept off her feet by a megastar in a cult-like group. (Sounds like someone whose name rhymes with Shmatie Shmolmes…but what do we know). Liftin will be reading and signing her book. More information.
