Insane Clown Posse has one of the most distinctive, loyal–and, at times, controversial–fanbases in pop music. And, this weekend, the face paint-sporting, Faygo-sipping crew will descend on DTLA en masse for Juggalo Weekend 2020.
The festival consists of two live outdoor concerts at Pershing Square, with different performances by Insane Clown Posse to headline each night. In addition to ICP, the Friday event will feature Madopelli Music, Still Not Dead, Big HooDoo, and Powerman 5000. Saturday’s show will include Dirty Machine, Powerflo, and Kottonmouth Kings.
The all-ages outdoor concert is ticketed which, as local conservation group Esotouric pointed out on Twitter, is an unusual practice. “It’s messed up that Rec and Parks just announced it’s closing Pershing Square Friday and Saturday for ticketed evening concerts,” the group posted. “Our precious public spaces shouldn’t be privatized.”
Juggalo Weekend 2020 takes place February 21 and 22, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets are available online from $47.50 per day, with weekend and VIP packages available.
