In Case You Were Wondering, Adele Sounds Phenomenal Singing “Hello” to Classroom Instruments

First Adele broke the record for U.S. album sales in a single week with her new record. (Bye bye bye, NSYNC!) Now she has managed to pull off the musical equivalent of Cutthroat Kitchen: on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show, Adele and The Roots (and Jimmy Fallon) hit The Tonight Show Music Room to perform her hit song “Hello” with instruments you’d find in a third grade classroom. Unsurprisingly, the performance was bomb, because Adele. Also those kazoos. Here’s who’s playing what:

Adele: vocals, flip phone
Jimmy Fallon: wood block, huge bass drum, Casio keyboard
Questlove: hand clappers, orange shaker
Kamal Gray:xylophone
James Poyser: melodica
Captain Kirk: ukulele
Tuba Gooding Jr.: kazoo, banana shaker
Mark Kelley: kazoo
Frank Knuckles: bongos
Black Thought: tambourine

Take a look at the magic below.
