Just a few days after Grimes announced that she broke up with Space X CEO Elon Musk again, and after it was revealed that the pair had welcomed daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk to the family in December, it’s being reported that the musician is now dating whistleblower Chelsea Manning.
According to Page Six, the “Oblivion” songstress and the Wikileaks-leaker/activist, who had a 35-year sentence on espionage and other charges commuted by President Barak Obama in 2017, have started a relationship and it’s already moving along swimmingly.
“They’re getting serious. They U-Hauled it,” a source tells tells the column. “They’ve been living together in Austin.”
Although Musk reportedly bunks just a stone’s throw away from the could-be couple—either in a $17.9 million Lake Austin estate or in a “tiny” $50,000 rental in Boca Chica, depending on who you ask—he might not drop by for a visit anytime soon. Just after news of Exa’s arrival was unofficially announced via Vanity Fair, Grimes—who had son X Æ A-Xii with Musk in May 2020—tweeted an update on the state of affairs between her and the billionaire space enthusiast.
“Me and E have broken up *again* since the writing of this article haha,” Grimes, 33, wrote, “but he’s my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now, I think Devin wrote that part of the story rly well. Sique – peace out”

Page Six also notes that Grimes and Manning, 34, have been amicably acknowledging each other’s existence on the social media platform of late.
Last week, Grimes explained that she hadn’t been able to appear on a user’s Twitch stream because she had not been “in LA” but felt “bad for postponing like 10 times.”
Manning then seemingly confirmed Grimes’ whereabouts, tweeting, “vouch.”

Manning previously “vouched” for Grimes in December, when Grimes tweeted, “Celebrity culture is suffocating a f. I’m not quitting music, but def changing my main day job after BOOK 1. Music industry feels old and tired, reliant on archaic systems.”
Grimes then responded, “Since I seem to be taking ur word as final these days.”
Additionally, Manning has “liked” several of Grimes’ tweets.
