Coachella Sets a Date for Its 2022 Comeback

The lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but tickets go on sale this week

Everyone’s favorite desert-set music fest (and inadvertent festival-season fashion show) is coming back in April 2022.

On Tuesday, mega-promoter Goldenvoice announced that Coachella will once again take over the Empire Polo Club in Indio from April 15-17 and April 22-24 next year. Likewise, Coachella’s country-fried sister fest Stagecoach will also return from April 29-May 1, 2022.

Lineups haven’t been announced yet, but Coachella passes go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 4 (Stagecoach at a later date).

After the pandemic kiboshed most live events in 2020, both fests were postponed twice before eventually being canceled for 2021. Previously purchased passes will automatically be accepted for 2022—so just cross your fingers you like the lineup.
