Worth mentioning: The 5th Annual Downtown Dog Day Afternoon will be held tomorrow from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The event is described by organizers as a way to have fun, food, and community building “for downtown L.A. dogs and their humans,” but even those that don’t have a furry friend—yet—are welcome. Dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens will be available for adoption.
