After two weekends in Coachella, Aloe Blacc is definitely older, but is he any wiser? The soulful Southern California singer is best known for his infectious collaboration with Avicii, “Wake Me Up,” which hit #1 in 103 countries. His newest single, “The Man,” is already #7 on the Billboard charts.
If you were in Indio either of these past two weekends, you might have spotted Blacc in his striped vest and bowler hat, performing at the 2014 edition of the desert music festival—when he and his crew weren’t busy snapping photos. And we got a peek at them.
“I absolutely loved Coachella,” Blacc tells us. “And this year I was fortunate enough to perform both weekends. It was a surreal experience after years in this business to perform in front of such a huge crowd and meet so many incredible fans.”
Along the way, Blacc and his team were snapping images. You can check out some of them–including images from his sets and from his time backstage–in Blacc’s behind-the-scenes Flipagram clip, made with the mobile app that lets users create video vignettes from their pictures and their favorite songs.
