Alice Revisits Wonderland in the Trailer for Through the Looking Glass

The movie, starring Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp, will be released next year

Just when you thought Alice had experienced all of Wonderland, there comes a trailer for the next iteration of Lewis Carroll’s descent into fantastical, magic-clock madness: Alice Through the Looking Glass. No one would fault you for assuming that Tim Burton is behind this sequel to 2010’s Alice in Wonderland, but you know what they say about people who assume: sometimes they’re wrong. In fact, it’s James Bobin who’ll be in the director’s chair for this tumble down the rabbit hole. (Fear not, Burtonites: Tim is producing.) This latest adventure follows our heroine as she travels back in time in an attempt to save the Mad Hatter.

Aside from Depp, the film brings back Helena Bonham Carter as the Queen of Hearts as well as Mia Wasikowska as Alice. The newly added Sacha Baron Cohen plays Time himself. The film is set for release in May of 2016.
