CONFAB: Dapper Day at Disneyland
More than 20,000 people will arrive at the park gussied up in pearls, furs, and all manner of snazzy headwear. In addition to the Friday park jaunt, this year’s festivities include a Saturday vintage car show, a Charles Phoenix slide presentation, and the official after-party Folly with multiple rooms of live entertainment. SHOPPING: Beauty-Fest!

MUSIC: HUSHconcert: Daft Punk v. Radiohead
Silent disco company HUSHconcerts closes out the season with a two-channel event at the Santa Monica Pier. Dance your face off as the sun falls into the ocean. More information (September 19, Santa Monica Pier)

SPORTS: Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox
Watch amazing athletes swim, bike, and sprint their way to victory. Proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. More information (September 19-20, Zuma Beach)

MUSIC: Mad Decent Block Party
Major Lazer, Devro, T-Pain, and more descend on LA Center studios for the 2015 iteration of the Mad Decent tour. More information (September 18 and 19, LA Center Studios)

CONFAB: Hispanic Heritage Festival and Classic Car Show
The City of Inglewood is hosting this event to honor the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. Grupo Folklorico, Sonsoles, and Pantom of Steel will perform, among others. More information (September 19, Crozier Middle School)

MUSIC: Taiwanese Opera by Ming Hwa Yuan Art and Cultural Group
Ming Hwa Yuan is one of the oldest troupes to perform Ge Zai Xi, or Taiwanese opera. On Saturday, they will present “General of the Empire” and “Lovebird’s Spears.” Shows will include English subtitles. SHOPPING: Pop Up Flea
Created by Michael Williams and Randy Goldberg, this pop-up marketplace features a range of U.S.-made menswear brands including American Rag, Bison Made, and Billykirk.
