MUSIC: Celebration for Ray Manzarek
The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore come together for the first time in 15 years on Friday to commemorate what would have been their bandmate Ray Manzarek’s 76 birthday. The duo will be joined by members of the Foo Fighters, Jane’s Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, and others to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. More information (February 12,  Fonda Theatre)

MUISC: Robert Glasper Experiment
Piano wunderkind Glasper won a Grammy for his 2012 album, Black Radio, which merged commercial R&B undertones with a streamlined jazz style you’d want to hear when you’re put on hold. More information (February 12-13, The Mint)

BOOKS: Antiquarian Book Fair
Bibliophiles and antique-book sellers get together once a year to show off the gems in their collections. A highlight? The Alice in Wonderland exhibition, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the psychedelic tale’s publication. More information (February 12-14, Pasadena Convention Center)

CONFAB: Gallifrey One: Station 27

ART: Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair
Who said print was dying? Thumb through books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines when the New York-based nonprofit, Printed Matter, brings the fair back to the West Coast for the fourth year. Presses and publishers from over 20 countries will come together for three days of exhibits, readings, and discussion. More information (February 12-14, The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA) 

FILM: National Park Adventure 3D
National treasures such as Yosemite, the Everglades, and Yellowstone can be enjoyed in the great indoors. Robert Redford narrates the IMAX 3D spectacular. More information (February 12 – April 28, The California Science Center) 

ART: Surface Printing Workshop With Lotta Jansdotter
The Swedish artist’s minimalist designs, which look to nature and midcentury Scandinavian art, dominate Pinterest. At this workshop Jansdotter shares tips on how to make stylish prints of your own. More information (February 13, Poketo at Line Hotel) 

THEATER: The Magic Flute
LA Opera’s retro-futuristic update of a Mozart classic channels silent films and cartoons of the 1930s, pairing interactive animation with live actors and singers onstage. More information (Febrary 13 – March 6, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion)
