Proving that Justin Bieber isn’t the only Canadian to make his mark on the American music scene, the Metric will stop in L.A. on their I Can See The End tour. TALK: In Conversation with Star Wars Designer Dan Perri
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the film industry from title designer Dan Perri. Art of the Title editors Will Perkins and Lola Landekic will host the conversation with Perri, who has worked on films such as Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raging Bull, Days of Heaven, and more. ART: UNICEF’s Next Generation Art Part
Los Angeles’ emerging artists will put their work on display at UNICEF’s second annual Next Generation Art Party. Bringing young artists, collectors and philanthropists together, the event will celebrate UNICEF’s accomplishments. CONFAB: An Evening with Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle: Awakening to a Higher Consciousness
Awaken your mind with spiritual masters Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle. The duo will teach attendees how to live a life with less suffering by tapping into a higher consciousness. The event will feature appearances by song writing Hall of Famer Linda Perry and her wife, actress Sara Gilbert, yogi Seane Corn, and songwriter Trevor Hall (known for his Sanskrit lyrics). ART: To Me You Are a Work of Art
The subjects of the limited-edition photography book demonstrate the dedication of Morrissey’s diehard fans. With tattoos of the singer’s face, autographs, lyrics, and albums etched onto their bodies, these devotees have marked themselves as true followers. The Czech Republic string quartet performs at a 1915 Craftsman house in La Cañada Flintridge that was built by Dr. Roy Lanterman, whose son Frank was an avid collector of rare sheet music. More information (February 28, Lanterman House) 

MUSIC: Real 92.3 Presents: The REAL Birthday Bash
Hip-hop royalty Nicki Minaj, R&B heavy Omarion, and laid-back rapper Big Sean headline this blowout, along with Long Beach’s O.T. Genasis and Fetty Wap. More information (February 28, The Forum) 

FILM: Doug Benson Watches the Oscars
Your ticket to watching the Oscars with comedians Doug Benson and Karen Anderson is your preferred dinner dish.
