Ten Miles of L.A. Streets Closed to Cars Sunday for CicLAvia

Ten miles of Los Angeles streets were closed to cars from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. on Sunday for the third annual CicLAvia, a street fair for bicyclists, runners, walkers, and skaters designed to give people a break from the stress of car traffic.

An estimated 130,000 people turned out for the event (a CicLAvia record), which took place in parts of East Hollywood, East LA., and downtown, where riders mingled with Occupy L.A. protesters near City Hall.

Sounds like something to see, right? Christa Mae Holmes and Neil Arnao already sent us these pictures that they snapped. To have yours added to this post, email them here.
