Charter Communications’ $57-billion deal to purchase Time Warner Cable is proving to be a win for Dodger fans. The station provider today announced plans to carry the team’s cable channel, SportsNet LA, effectively ending a business dispute that prevented hundreds of thousands of L.A. residents from watching games on TV for the past 14 months. The Los Angeles Times reports Charter subscribers will not be charged extra for SportsNet LA. Starting Tuesday, the station will air in standard-def on channel 44 and in high-def on channel 789.
