Podcast Preview: A Professor Of Criminalistics Describes Seeing A Dead Body

You Can’t Eat the Sunshine is a weekly podcast series produced by Kim Cooper and Richard Schave in which the founders of Esotouric talk with L.A. personalities about the city’s myths, contradictions, and inspirations.

This week, Richard and Kim sit down with Cal State Professor of Criminalistics, Don Johnson, who shares how he became involved in the field. They also speak with Marc Chevalier about the James Oviatt building, who settles the skyscraper’s purported Art Deco origins once and for all.

In this exclusive clip, Johnson reminisces about his apprenticeships in mortuary and forensic sciences (and about having a strong stomach when it comes to seeing dead bodies).
