The Laurel Canyon Dog Park just got a little shadier thanks to Ms. Que Sera Sera herself, animal-lover Doris Day. Canine and human onlookers gathered at a ribbon-cutting yesterday to inaugurate the wooden structure (avec benches) into the pet friendly park. This dog/human rest stop was made possible by a donation from The Doris Day Animal Foundation. Said, Carmel’s most famous resident in a statement read by a pal, “My hope is that all of you nice folks who take such good care of your pets will enjoy this park.” It must be made of dogwood. After the ribbon cutting all manner of mutts converged upon the pavilion.
