Lakers superstar LeBron James’s house in Brentwood, located at 221 S. Rockingham Avenue, has hit the market. The ten-year-old traditional-style mansion is listed with David Offer of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services for $20,500,000.
That asking price is actually a drop of about $400,000 from what James paid for the house when he purchased it in 2015. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home has reportedly not been used as the James family’s primary L.A. residence–and does not appear to match video of the location of six-year-old Zhuri James’s truly fabulous backyard playhouse.
According to the listening, the home has “resort-like grounds,” including mature redwood trees for shade and privacy, and a grand pool and cabana area in the rear. Indoors, amenities include a gym, elevator, library, media room, and even its own back-up generator to ride out any possible scenario in comfort and style.
It’s not the only recent real estate move for James. In October, he paid a reported $36.8 million for a Beverly Hills property that was once home to Katharine Hepburn. He is also holding on to a second place in Brentwood, purchased for $23 million in 2017.
