L.A. to Have First Ever Non-Profit Day Next Week

On L.A.’s first ever Non-Profit Day, Governor Jerry Brown, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, philanthropist and star of Los Angeles magazine’s October issue Wallis Annenberg, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, comedian George Lopez, and singer-songwriter and new L.A. resident Michelle Branch will hear brief pitches from ten local non-profits competing for prizes totaling $100,000 at Club Nokia this Tuesday. The event, called Peer to Peer, is a community initiative sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation. Want to get involved? RSVP here to attend.
