It has been just over two years since Santa Monica Place, the shopping mall adjacent to Third Street Promenade, closed for a complete renovation and transformation. Now with the grand re-opening slightly less than a month away, the three-story, 550,000-square-foot retail and dining spot is looking for some help.
That’s right, Santa Monica Place is hiring. For those of you strapped on cash and looking for a place to work in style, the revamped shopping mecca will host a public job fair on Saturday, July 10. Retailers and restaurants from the open-air mall will be on the search for employees at Santa Monica College from 10 to 2.
Participating businesses include Johnny Was, Xino, Kitson, Disney, BCBG, La Sandia, Zengo, Eva Varro, Ted Baker, White House Black Market, Ugo Cafe, Pizza Antica, True Religion, Nike, Skechers, Joe’s Jeans, Charles David, Charlotte Russe, AllSaints Spitalfields, Ben Bridge Jeweler, Kenneth Cole, and 7 For All Mankind. Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom will also attend as the mall’s keystone department stores.
