FAQ 12-28-09: The Monday Edition

The phone rings. Email dings. I do my best to answer questions related to the magazine. Here is this week’s query:
 
FAQ: Got a call from a lady (she didn’t leave her name!) in a bit of a dither. She’d made a copy of the Zankou Chicken Murder’s piece but it was missing the last page. Her first thought? Call the mag and get the rest of the story.
 
MY ANSWER: Mark Arax wrote about the tragic story of the head of the fast food chain, Zankou Chicken, (Mardiros Iskenderian killed his mother and sister, then himself) in our April 2008 issue. Here is the whole story. Arax’s piece went on to be included in The Best American Crime Reporting 2009.
