“Two, four, six, eight, we do not discriminate!” chanted the tiniest protesters in Los Angeles. Hundreds of people—mostly elementary school-aged—gathered at UCLA to join university faculty and First Lady of Los Angeles Amy Wakeland for a peaceful protest yesterday. Kids and parents made signs for the march throughout the campus, spreading a message of equality and unity. Here’s a look at the event, which took place just two days before the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
