A week after announcing the cancellation of the first two series of the 2022 regular season, baseball commissioner Rob Manfred has canceled 93 more games. “Because of the logistical realities of the calendar, another two series are being removed from the schedule, meaning that opening day is postponed until April 14,” he said. City Council Moves to Drop COVID Vaccine Mandate The council voted unanimously Wednesday to remove the requirement for indoor businesses to the requirement for indoor businesses to verify customers’ COVID vaccination status. » ‘Black Panther’ Director Ryan Coogler Mistaken for Bank Robber in Atlanta Ryan Coogler, best known for directing Black Panther, was briefly detained in January after he was mistaken for a bank robber at a Bank of America in Atlanta, according to a police report filed Wednesday. “This situation should never have happened,” he told Variety. “However, Bank of America worked with me and addressed it to my satisfaction and we have moved on.” [Variety]
