Thanks to the past week’s cooler temps, I’m finally in the spirit of the season. I have a tradition for this time of year: During the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I head out each night for a brisk, quick walk to survey, document, and share the holiday decorations near my home. If I’m already out and about when it gets dark, I keep my eyes peeled on my way. I was headed to the H.M.S. Bounty in Koreatown earlier this week when I snapped these municipal additions to the historic lampposts. Even the bus lane gets to dress up for the holidays! I’ve tagged this and the other holiday photos I’ve taken #25daysofchristmaslights on Instagram, and a few other users have joined in—tag yours, too!
