Welcome to the ultimate, coronavirus-era listings of options for Los Angeles food delivery and takeout. These restaurants, food providers, bars, and shops are keeping L.A. well-fed while we stay at home.
Times are tough for everyone, and the hospitality industry has been hit particularly hard. Many thousands of Americans employed at restaurants and bars have lost their jobs; nearly 11 percent of all restaurants in the country may never open again after the pandemic. But you can help keep this vital sector of our society alive by supporting your favorite local businesses–or maybe even use this time to try out the fare of somewhere you never went before.
All the Los Angeles food delivery and takeout options listed here were accurate that the time created, but conditions may change fast, so please be sure to check with the vendor to confirm availability.

Inside Guide - Shops & Markets
James Beard Award-nominated chef Jeremy Fox has dramatically retooled his sunny restaurant, named after his young daughter, for the moment. There’s prepared comfort food aplenty, from matzo ball soup to Reuben sandwiches, along with pantry items and sundries both basic—all-purpose flour—and gourmet—Spanish Bomba rice. Family style “hot plates,” like a grass-fed beef meatloaf and noodle kugel, feed up to six people. Finish things off with the beautiful, jiggly rose petal pie.
The Echo Park bakery is offering a selection of items for “locals only” delivery and pick-up service within the neighborhood or via Caviar. Stock up on fresh, artisan baguettes and loaves, a selection of pastries, or order from a menu of prepared dishes and coffee or tea beverages.
Two locations of HomeState–Los Feliz and Highland Park–are open for Tex-Mex fare including their signature breakfast tacos and queso. Los Feliz is also now a “general store” with kitchen essentials. Place an order for curbside pickup or delivery.
In addition to offering the full menu and selections from the attached Helen’s wine shop for takeout and delivery service, Jon & Vinny’s is also offering a “goods” department with fresh produce, meats, and pantry goods.
Charming cafe and patisserie Valerie is making sure your sweet tooth can still be sated. Items will be available on several apps, or for in-person pick up at the Echo Park and HiFi shops. Valerie will also be expanding the “larder items” available, including beans, grains, and other must-haves.
