Who are those people holding musical instruments in the mural off the 110 downtown? One of them looks just like my mom.

    Either your mom is 80 feet tall, a virtuoso, or both. Those musicians were with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in 1994, when Kent Twitchell painted the 11,000-square-foot canvas titled Harbor Freeway Overture. The violinist closest to the freeway, who measures eight stories, is the aptly named Julie Gigante. She is on sabbatical from the orchestra.
