    That’s the thing about graveyards—you don’t hear the residents complaining “there goes the neighborhood.” Those roped-off 55-gallon drums you spotted didn’t contain anything poisonous, only soil samples from the DWP’s Headworks reservoir project—a network of subterranean reservoirs that, by the time it’s completed around 2015, will have led to more dirt excavation than was displaced by adjacent cemeteries for three generations of burials.
