Video Village With Ask Chris: Wilshire Boulevard Finally Gets a Makeover


Wilshire Boulevard, the “grand concourse of Los Angeles,” is our famed and historic roadway immortalized in books and movies and song, but the actual pavement has been a painful and brain-rattling ride for years as road funds dried up and a major retrofit was postponed.  Tomorrow morning, the first cones go down and the renovation begins! Councilman Tom LaBonge and The Bureau of Street Services has announced that the first stretch, between Sycamore and Fairfax, will begin an $800,000 construction project this weekend.
