Voice-acting legend June Foray won her first Emmy award last night in a ceremony held at the Bonaventure Hotel. The 94-year-old actress (and author) took home the award for her role on Cartoon Network’s The Garfield Show, but has been acting since the 1940s appearing on Lux Radio Theater and the Jimmy Durante Show. Even if you don’t know the name, you know the voice from Rocky and Bullwinkle, Tweety and Sylvester and The Bugs Bunny Show. Check out this clip from a documentary narrated by the magniloquent Mr. Gary Owens. Congratulations, Miss Foray!
