The first phase of Crafted At The Port Of Los Angeles opened this weekend, bringing nearly 100 vendors selling whisky-soaked cupcakes and wooden eyeglasses in a restored WWII-era warehouse in San Pedro. The baby strollers and bucket hats stretched the length of the massive building, which is open for business every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can’t imagine how packed this place is going to be next Mother’s Day. Admission is free and parking is $5. Make a day of it by riding the Red Car trolley and grabbing a burger at Utro’s before hitting the massive new craftporium by the sea.
