Shop at the Soda Pop Stop – Save the Southwest Museum

If you can’t decide between Coke and Pepsi, you’ll go absolutely bonkers at Galco’s Soda Pop Stop this Sunday. There are over 1000 varieties of strange and unusual beverages at the ancient store in Highland Park. This weekend, join soda king John Nese among his delectables for a summer soda tasting benefiting the Friends of the Southwest Museum.  New flavors will be introduced, there will be live music from Artichoke,  a benefit auction, yarn spinning?! and Histo-tainer Charles Phoenix will be mixing up some neighborhood-specific “Poptails.”  Proceeds from all products purchased during the event will be donated to the group trying to re-open the historic museum. Oh, did I mention the store doesn’t carry Coke or Pepsi? Buy tickets here.
