On Saturday, June 15th I’ll be guiding a fleet of pink mustachioed cars from Lyft through the San Fernando Valley for the Los Angeles Design Festival. Join us as we seek out hidden corners of art and excitement. Dig through the decades at History For Hire where we’ll see famous movie props, real and recreated. See how Liberace’s 1970’s bar was stocked with authentic period booze and cigarettes. We’ll also visit the grounds of the amazing art deco Glendale airport, closed since the 1950’s, and see how the Walt Disney Company is transforming the terminal Amelia Earhart once flew from. More design surprises to come. Please visit LA Design Festival for more details and tickets. See you there.
