Tony Quan (AKA Tempt1) spent decades crafting his graffiti art. Experts say he combined East and West coast lettering styles into a new California art form in the 1980s. Quan was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in 2003 and today is almost entirely paralyzed, with the exception of his eyes. Fans and friends recently gave the artist the ability to draw again with a new digital tool called EyeWriter. The fans projected his new eye-drawn art around downtown last month and the team keeps refining the low-cost device, which started as a pair of cheap sunglasses, Playstaton parts and a Kickstarter campaign. Check out their amazing video here and be inspired.
