I’m super excited about the Turner Classic Movies Classic Film Festival coming to Hollywood at the end of the month. Every black-and-white movie lover’s favorite channel is getting a head start by dispatching eight legendary film stars on a “Road To Hollywood” series of free screenings around the country next week. Angie Dickinson at the Paramount in Austin, Shirley Jones at the Castro in San Francisco and Ernest Borgnine at the Egyptian on Hollywood Boulevard hosting a screening of the 1953 Oscar winning Best Picture From Here to Eternity. Print your free tickets here. The 93-year-old Borgnine is animated and hilarious and genius. He makes you leave the theater feeling better about the world. Go!
