Did the swans at the Hotel Bel-Air have to leave during the compound’s refurbishment?

The three mute swans, Chloe, Athena, and Hercules, are the only guests at the swanky hotel, which reopens next year and has long been home to a flock of the white birds. Their caretaker, a neighbor named Mrs. Crow (for real), reports that the trio will remain there through the renovation; the construction is indoors and the lake is protected by lawns, trees, and the hotel’s own flock of guards. Mrs. Crow sings to the birds each morning as she serves up their vegetarian diet. Now that’s room service.
