Want to support the AAPI community—and have some great meals? Check out Pop Off L.A., a weeklong event featuring a number of one-time only collabs and special events from some of the city’s most notable chefs and restaurants.

Buzzy mobile pizza maker Speak Cheezy is teaming up with Cantonese barbecue Ricebox, steakhouse Dear John’s, Filipino pop-up Kuya Lord, and noodle maestros Estrano to offer a number of exciting pies—Char Siu Pozza, Longanisa Pizza—and other delights on May 21. Sightglass Coffee and Nicole Rucker’s Fat+Flour are offering cheese hand pies and ribeye chili May 22 and 23. Many more events and delicious food items are on the docket, but things are selling out quickly, so go to the  Pop Off L.A. website to order up.

A portion of proceeds will go the nonprofit Off Their Plate to help support Asian restaurants in need, and you can also opt to donate directly. The event is organized by the L.A. Food Gang, a group that host regular conversations about the food and restaurant scene on Clubhouse.
