Ask and You Shall Receive: A Round-Up of Restaurants That Will Be Open Christmas Day

Comments

Reader Connie Huante of Lawndale didn’t want to seem presumptuous when she asked, “Is there any remote possibility the December issue could include a segment on restaurants that are open on Christmas Day?” Dine editor Lesley Bargar Suter provides this hit list:

–> For more elaborate meals, try places like the Four Seasons, Whist at the Viceroy, Wolfgang Puck at the Hotel Bel-Air, or The Royce at the Langham in Pasadena.

–> Persian spots like Shamshiri Grill and Javan, both on the Westside, can be a flavorful option.

–> For truly low-key, try Neptune’s Net, the venerable chowder shack in yonder Malibu.

–> Or partake in a Jewish tradition: Eat Chinese food. You’ll barely have to wait for a table at Din Tai Fung, the Arcadia dumpling institution.
