All Clear: Los Angeles Magazine’s Water Supply Is EPA Approved

In honor of our September feature on Water in L.A., we decided to go on a fact-finding mission: could the water flowing from our office sink be harboring dangerous contaminates? After ordering a testing kit from Water Test America, a nationally-acclaimed, EPA-approved lab in New Jersey, we’re happy to report that our drinking water is all clear.

“The most important thing you want to look for is the bacteria coliform,” a Water Test America spokesperson said. “If that were present, it would be a serious matter.” Lucky for us, no chemical, mineral, or other substance exceeded the normal limits. Cheers to that.
