How Many Fashion Editors Does it Take To Change a Lightbulb?

Someone tell MythBusters to stand down. We have an answer!

Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce

Somewhere between talking up Made in L.A. goods with local designers over breakfast with the mayor and writing copy for the January issue, senior editor Linda Immediato found the time (five minutes around 7 p.m. on Friday night, to be exact) to test the age old question, How many fashion editors does it take to change a light bulb? The answer: One, dressed to the nines in a Trina Turk suit. Linda said her look was inspired by Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce because Mildred was a business woman who embodied the made in L.A. spirit. Who knew she'd find herself reenacting a scene from the film later in the evening?
