Short Cake

Once upon a time, while Amy Pressman, founder of Short Order, was busy perfecting her dream burger restaurant for opening, she was presented with the idea of having a bakery inside the Original Farmers Market. The baked goods at Short Cake represent some of the best of American desserts and Amy’s passion--classics like chewy ginger cookies and dark chocolate chunk cookies, chocolate cake, and apple pie. They are prepared by a team of passionate bakers who are committed to using the best ingredients you can get your hands on--from Straus creamery butter, TCHO chocolate, to Sqirl preserves and freshly ground spices. They are both sweet and savory and their selection reflects equally the season and our bakers passion for the oven... all in pursuit of delicious perfection.
