Food Truck Fashion: Curly Velasquez Strikes Again

Los Angeles magazine style intern, Leticia Katz, grabs lunch on the go and hunts for stylish food truck patrons outside the LA Mag office in Miracle Mile…

TRUCK: Banh in the USA

WHO: Curly Velasquez, Artist

WHAT HE ORDERED: Vermicelli Bowl

WEARING: “I don’t know where my shoes are from. They’re really old… Almost falling apart. I like when my shoes are falling apart. The camouflage shirt… I also don’t remember where I got. These jeans are girl’s skinny jeans from Forever 21, and these glasses are from Popkiller. They’re broken. I broke them when I was drunk in Mexico.”

DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE: “I would say I’m eclectic, you know? André 3000, the skinny guy from Outkast, inspires me a lot. I also like this vintage boutique in Burbank called Hubba Hubba.”

LAST THING YOU BOUGHT: “A vintage Mexican ring from a collector. It’s from the ’50s and very rare.”

This is the second time Curly caught our eyes right in front of the food trucks in Miracle Mile.
