It's tradition: each March Los Angeles magazine deputy editor Nancy Miller fills out a NCAA bracket with her father when she visits him for his birthday. This year, her position at the mag inspired both their picks. She took a break from the celebration to share her final lineup with us (above). "Now that I'm an editor at Los Angeles, he and I took a risk on UCLA," she says. "And in state support, we're taking a chance on UC Berkeley. Here's hoping that loyalty wins out over stats."
