Larry King stepped away from his CNN news desk and into the spotlight at a book party celebrating My Remarkable Life, his best-selling autobiography, at Spago in Beverly Hills. Looking hip in a fitted leather jacket and dark denim (a gift from Ryan Seacrest, according to a King confidant), the talk-show great said the response has been "tremendous. We knew it would do well, but we didn't know it would do this well. They're already talking about Book 2!" While he signed Book 1, Barbara Davis, Bill Maher, and Mike Medavoy mingled and munched on beef satay and salmon pizza, and Cindy Adams (signature coif and all) confirmed her plan to meet King—where else?—at Nate'n Al for breakfast.
