Five Masses Worth Levitating (to Your Mouth)

Celebrate LACMA's latest with L.A.'s biggest foods

Over the weekend, the 340-ton boulder that crawled its way from Riverside County was finally installed at LACMA to create the awe-inspiring (and awe-inspiringly expensive) work of art known as "Levitated Mass". Ray’s & Stark Bar commemorated the occasion with a drink known as the “Rocktail” (get it?) with Oro Pisco Acholado, lemon juice, house-made Chamomile syrup, Miracle Mile Castillan bitters, egg white, and local bee pollen ($12). But should you wish to celebrate the big rock with something something a bit more, er, substantial, here are five of L.A.'s most deliciously massive foods that, while not 340 tons, may have you feeling that way.
