Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rosé Languedoc 2013, France
This is one of the best values around in wine, period. We recommend
drinking this 2013 release before the warm weather passes us by. It is
the perfect seasonal match for summertime and optimal to drink before
next year’s release hits the US. This vivid pink blend of 50%
Grenache, 30% Carignan, 20% Syrah captures the essence of Southern
Honoro Vera Blanco Rueda 2013, Spain
In the wine region of Rueda in Spain one grape reigns supreme among
other white grapes, Verdejo. Here, the sandy soils covered with
gravel create the perfect home for this grape to thrive in order to
create this elegant white wine. The Gil Family Estates are behind the
production of this intensely aromatic, tropical and interesting drink.

La Grange de Piaugier Cotes du Rhone 2012, France
A typical blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan though not a
super typical Cotes du Rhone. This wine is aged in concrete instead
of barrels or stainless steel. This gives the wine weight like a
barrel aged wine would but with none of the oaky flavors that can
impart. It’s organic but the producers don’t flaunt it and everything
is done by hand because they wouldn’t have it any other way. So fresh,
so balanced, and so so delicious.
Split Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2011, California
A gem-like violet cabernet redolent with plum and huckleberry. Split
Creek Cabernet is smooth, intense and heavy, with a tannic bite. A
cool 2011 in Sonoma County infused the grape harvest with deep ﬂavor
and concentration. Delicious paired with game and red meats.
