Another week almost over, another Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tasting Fundraiser coming up! Curious about this week's line up? Silver Lake Wine's Randy Clement fills us in on what to expect:

Domaine de Castelnau Viognier 2012, France
A dry, summertime sensation packed with creamy banana, crisp citrus, and peach. Showing in much higher quality than previous years, thanks to the monumental efforts of the new domaine holders. Their new mantra is quality over quantity.

Bieler Pere et Fils Rose 2013 Provence, France
This wine is fermented in stainless steel and concrete which provides a nice little zing for this rose made from mostly Syrah. The Provencal-style revolves around light, refreshing rosés that takes you right to the French Riviera with every glass.

VINI Pinot Noir 2012, Bulgaria
Wait, Bulgaria? Not necessarily the region that comes to mind when we think of wine, but ancient history says otherwise. This pinot is a chocolate and cherry bomb with a smidgen of black tea. Different and delicious, this wine takes it to the next level.

Beso de Vino Old Vine Garnacha 2011, Spain
40-year old Garnacha vines make for exactly what the name implies: a luscious kiss of wine. The Spanish might be some of the best producers of this versatile grape. It delivers a bold amount of black cherry and a little white pepper that would compliment any meat dish. But of course, it's amazing on its own.
