El Mac
Miuccia Prada asked Los Angeles-based muralist Miles “El Mac” MacGregor and five other artists to produce original work for her spring collection. A signature saintly portrait by El Mac was incorporated into ready-to-wear pieces, including this skirt (above). Murals by all six artists were used as backdrops for the runway show, creating a meta moment in which art imitated art.
