Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Style

It's never too late to commemorate the Year of the Horse

Clockwise from top left: Tiffany charm and chain, Vacheron Constantin watch, and Boucheron's Pégase ring

We’re already more than a week into the Chinese New Year, but if you failed to welcome the Year of the Horse on January 31, don’t worry, the celebrations aren't over.  From now until February 18, Beverly Center has a special promotion: Customers who spend more than $500 in one day will receive a red envelope containing a gift card, a twist on the customary exchange of money to mark the occasion. Should you be in the market for more specific memorabilia, Bloomingdale’s has curated an assortment of equine-themed apparel and accessories.

On the more luxurious end, Boucheron has introduced Pégase, a horse ring made of diamonds, sapphires, and white gold, meanwhile Tiffany and Vacheron Constantin are commemorating the Chinese Zodiac by adding collectibles to their catalogue. The former is offering a charm and chain (sold separately), and the latter a wristwatch plated with pink gold. Of course, horses never go out of style, so these special-edition items aren’t your only chance to honor our four-legged friends. Expect sales in 2015, when the Year of the Sheep ambles in.
