Rainbow Wedges and Echo Park Lake

Did you know Salvatore Ferragamo got his start in L.A. 100 years ago? To honor its local roots, the fashion house celebrated the grand opening of the Wallis Annenberg Center For The Performing Arts with a gala and a pop-up shop in the center’s grand hall, where an exclusive line of accessories designed just for L.A. is available until the end of November.

Ferragamo also gives L.A. a little amore in its romantic comedy video campaign, Walking Stories, directed by Luca Guadagnino. The short film is divided into eight chapters and follows the character Sara as she embarks on a life-changing trip filled with chance encounters and coincidences. Sara accidentally runs from one love to another. The series literally “walks” across the world—Los Angeles, Florence, and Shanghai. There are great scenes of the new Echo Park Lake and my favorite part is a cute date at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills. The chapters have been released on a bi-weekly schedule. If you want to catchup, check out the first four installments below. The fifth can be found on Ferragamo.com. From the eccentric rainbow wedges to the sexy navy and black power suit, all of Sara’s ensembles are knockouts! I can’t wait to see what else she wears and what happens with her newly sparked romance.
