Makeup Junkie: Fall's Femme Fatale

Hitchcock's blondes may have inspired many a collection this season, but for Make Up For Ever, it was the elegant sophistication of the 1950s. The decade's strong brows, warm browns, and dramatic liner get a modern update with the addition of a frosty teal shade in the cosmetic company's latest launch. Blue Sepia includes a palette ($45)—pretty much all you need to complete the eyes above—8 shades, including two matte shadows that do double-duty on eyebrows. There's also a liquid teal liner (part of the collection but purchased separately, $23) that can be used to create a more intense cat eye. The Blue Sepia collection also includes Swarovski blue Strass faux eyelashes (purchased separately, $16)  meant to be applied to the outside corners of your lashline for a dazzlingly flirty effect.

(Blue Sepia will be available in Make Up For Ever Boutiques (including the one on Robertson Blvd.) and Sephora stores starting in September)
